About Me – UK Pencil Portrait Artist

Hello! I’m Angela, a UK-based pencil portrait artist living in sunny Milton Keynes. I create hand-drawn pencil portraits from photos, capturing the character and emotion behind every subject.

About Angela

My name’s Angela (that’s me over there), and I’m a 50-something pencil portrait artist who’s been drawing professionally for over fifteen years. I live in Milton Keynes with my hubby and my two not-so-little monsters – a boy and a girl.

When I’m not sketching, you’ll usually find me at the gym, recharging with a Diet Coke (or occasionally a nice glass of white wine in the evening!).

I’ve always loved drawing, and becoming a pencil portrait artist has allowed me to combine my passion for detail with my love of people and stories. Whether it’s a family portrait, a pet drawing or a landscape, I take pride in turning your photographs into meaningful works of art that can be treasured for years to come.

So whatever you’d like on your wall, just let me know – I’ll do my best to draw it for you.

Since becoming a full-time pencil portrait artist, I’ve drawn over 2,000 pencil portraits for customers across the UK and beyond. Each piece is unique and hand-drawn with care, capturing the likeness, emotion and personality of every subject.

Here are just a few examples of my work as a pencil portrait artist:

Meet Angela, The Pencil Artist from Pencil Sketch Portraits

My name’s Angela (that’s me over there), and I’m a 50-something pencil artist from sunny Milton Keynes, England. I live with my hubby and my two not-so-little monsters (a boy and a girl). I love to draw, whether it be portraits of people or pets or drawings of buildings, landscapes or even vehicles.

So, if there’s a special something you’ve always wanted on your wall, let me know. I would love to draw it for you.

From Art School to Pencil Artist from Milton Keynes

I’ve been interested in pencil art since I studied it at college. I particularly liked the idea of becoming a pencil artist, but I hadn’t picked up a pencil in years.

One birthday, my husband bought me some pencils and a sketchpad. After drawing my one-year-old (at the time) son and showing it to a friend, I was encouraged to do a few more drawings for friends, family, etc.

Demand grew through word of mouth and recommendation, and I started selling my work locally until a friend suggested one day that I set up a website to showcase my work as a pencil artist.

Browse My Past Pencil Artist Commissions

Throughout my website, you will find online examples of my previous pencil artist commissions. You can read my customer reviews and get information on sizes, prices and payment options to help you decide what you might like to purchase online.

Once you’ve made up your mind, email me with your requirements and your photograph, and I’ll respond as soon as possible.

My Promises to You

  1. All my work is completely original and hand-drawn by me.
  2. I always try to use sensitive attention to detail to bring out the best in every subject.
  3. If you’re not completely satisfied with your finished drawing, you needn’t pay me a penny more until you are.

Many thanks,

Angela.
